Purposes of her "Message of Gabriel" is to encourage writing of poetry. Explains her method of teaching, and her definition of the poetic process and of poetry. Refuses television appearance; cites reasons for dislike of television. Is pleased to speak at poetry convention. Discusses a long poem, and two of her Chinese plays. Gives autobiographical information; discusses her ancestry, particularly her relationship to Mary Dyer, the Quaker. With this are a letter of transmittal to the Harris Collection, 1963, Aug. 20, by W. R. A. Le Grande, and a brochure: "Remembrance House. Study Program".
